High-Quality Shrink Wrap Materials
The Shrink Wrap Company typically uses 12-mil thickness white flame-retardant shrink wrap for safety and maximum durability to withstand the daily abuse of a construction site and provide weather protection. The Shrink Wrap Company building shrink wrap film includes an optional maximum 180-day UV inhibitors additive.
Common construction shrink wrapping use:
- Containment Solutions
- Coatings and Linings
- Demising Walls
- Environmental Control
- Scaffold
- Temporary Windows/Temporary Roof
- Weatherization at Elevator and Stair Doghouse
- Bridges

Coating & Linings for Painting Projects
Industrial painting contractors use shrink wrap services for a variety of large-scale painting projects. Proper application of shrink wrap material helps eliminate possible overspray contamination of adjacent properties, cars, and the environment.
Not only does shrink wrap protect surrounding areas from paint overspray, but it also helps you and your clients save money. Because shrink wrap allows for more accurate application, less paint is wasted.
The Shrink Wrap Company expertly applies the right amount of required shrink wrap material, resulting in proper mil thickness and increased quality control for both interior lining and exterior coating during painting projects.

Sheltering Construction Projects | Assets on the Line
Scaffolding shrink wrap helps protect internal spaces from adverse weather conditions and provide a safe work environment. Durable wrap sheeting is shrunk drum-tight with sealed seams to keep weather, UV light, pests, high winds, and condensation from damaging your project. Don’t rely on tarps to protect your job site.

Demising Walls
The Shrink Wrap Company can install a temporary demising wall typically in a single shift. Even our largest walls are installed in days to provide a water-resistant, washable wall separating critical areas in a quick and cost-effective manner.
Shrink wrap walls are temporary and frequently do not require additional plans, engineering, or permitting to construct and dismantle. Demising walls are typically attached at roof beam flanges using a clamp system designed by Chris McMillan and attached at the floor using a tapcon or applicable anchor.
The Shrink Wrap Company can provide walls in whatever height or length the job requires, complete with welded seams. Interior demising walls are not typically shrunk. If you need to contain construction demolition, fumes, silica, or dust and debris, a shrink wrap demising wall may fit your project.
Environmental Control
The Shrink Wrap Company has provided containment for various areas that require protection during construction including:
- Clean Rooms
- Separate Departments
- Isolated Floors
- Elevator Shafts and Stairwell Doghouses
Shrink wrap containment can help shield separate rooms, install and protect epoxy floor coverings and specialty floors, provide fire protection, and protect electrical areas during construction projects.

Weatherization
Shrinkwrapping increases productivity- keeps you on schedule – saves $$$ – reduces weather damage.
Weather delays and high winds extend construction schedules. A shrink-wrapped structure, skylight, window, or clerestory allows trades to continue working within shrink wrap containment, increases jobsite productivity, reduces weather damage and delay, and reduces UVI exposure.
Shrink film has 96% opacity, allowing excellent visibility for those trades working in the containment. Multiple trades can perform work simultaneously in a shrink wrap enclosure. If exterior work is being performed, shrink wrap helps protect the structure from outside damage.
Shrink Wrap Services in the Construction Industry
Heavy-duty construction shrink wrap containments are our fastest-growing segment due to the wide variety of applications in the construction industry.
Shrink wrap can provide environmental control to contain and acclimatize a structure to increase the cure time of various materials such as:
- Concrete
- Drywall mud
- Spray-on fireproofing
- Caulking
- Sheetrock
- Joint compound
- Various paint applications
Increased production in cold climates reduces overall schedule and project costs by allowing work to be performed despite weather conditions. Shrink wrap enclosures minimize the exposure of construction materials to water and subsequent repair and replacement of damaged construction materials.
