Interior Demising Walls
Interior and exterior demising walls are becoming increasingly popular to advance construction timelines during the building phase. Furthermore, as dividers, interior separation walls and exterior walls allow the flexibility to redesign existing space for current tenants, separating production areas from renovation expansion demolition areas.
Shrink wrap is considered a temporary product by most building departments which means wall systems do not typically require permitting or engineering for installation or use in a wide variety of applications.
Shrink wrap comes in widths up to 40 feet and lengths to 100 feet, allowing for quick deployment of walls in large spaces, typically in days depending on dimensions, and at a far more cost-effective price than the conventional stud wall or drywall construction.
Shrink wrap demising walls, also called demising partitions or party walls, can be flame retardant and washable, often necessary depending on building code requirements. Wall panels are typically anchored to the bottom cord of the roof truss using a C-clamp and furring strip and attached to the floor using tapcon anchors. Once installed, The Shrink Wrap Company’s demising walls allow for environmental control of any heating and cooling requirements and eliminates any dust or debris from construction demolition entering production areas.
