Helicopter Wrapping Services
The Shrink Wrap Company frequently shrinkwraps helicopters for transport via land, sea, or air in various weather conditions so that it arrives in perfect condition.
How it works:
All aviation shrink wrap projects begin with the correct preparation required to safely deliver the helicopter for storage or transport. Our crews begin the shrink wrap process by protecting all windows and plexiglass areas with anti-static tape.
Fragile computer components, electronics, and ferrous metals are removed or prewrapped and all potential puncture points and are padded and protected to prevent damage.
Only after the prep is complete will The Shrink Wrap Company technicians begin deployment of white flame-retardant shrink wrap material on the helicopter. All seams will be welded using Shrinkfast 998 heat equipment, then taped using white shrink wrap tape for added protection. Once the seams are completed, the shrink wrap is shrunk to a tight and uniform finish over the entire aircraft, and the zippered access door(s) are installed.
The Shrink Wrap Company carries a wide variety of zipper openings in both clear and white colors. If a helicopter is to be transported, all attachments and pick points are individually shrinkwrapped and crated if required.
